Privacy Policy
This notice describes how personal data of users visiting www.antoniocannizzo.com (the "Site") is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").
1. Data Controller

2. Categories of data processed
- Browsing data — the systems hosting the Site acquire, in the course of normal operation, data whose transmission is implicit in internet protocols: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser user-agent. This data is used solely to ensure the operation and security of the Site.
- Data provided voluntarily — sending an email to the addresses shown on the Site entails acquiring the sender's address and any other data contained in the message, processed solely to reply to the request.
- Country of origin — on first visit, the Site queries an external service (country.is) to detect only the country associated with the IP address, in order to offer the most suitable language (Italian or English). This data is not stored by the Site.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Technical operation and security of the Site — legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to email enquiries — pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Automatic language selection — legitimate interest of the controller in providing an adequate browsing experience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use profiling cookies, analytics or tracking tools. It only uses technical local storage (browser localStorage) to remember two user preferences: the display theme (light/dark) and the chosen language. These are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user and are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy rules. They can be deleted at any time via the browser settings.
5. Third-party services
The Site uses the following external services, which may receive the user's IP address as technically necessary to deliver the requested content:
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) — typeface delivery. Privacy policy
- jsDelivr and unpkg — content delivery networks (CDN) for software libraries. jsDelivr privacy policy
- country.is — country detection for language selection.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; transfers take place on the basis of European Commission adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
6. Recipients
Browsing data is processed by the Site's hosting provider acting as data processor. Data is not disclosed, sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Retention
Browsing data is kept for the time strictly necessary for operation and security purposes. Email correspondence is kept for the time needed to handle the request and to comply with legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. Requests may be sent to info@antoniocannizzo.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; for Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Minors
The Site is not directed at children under 14 and the controller does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
